Extended Learning Resources
Game Apps
Back to School Life was developed for children transitioning from kindergarten to primary school by the Education University of Hong Kong. This app aims to improve children’s English competencies as well as their interest and motivation in learning English.
Before their learning journey in the app, children will first complete an English competencies assessment. The app will then generate a personalized learning sequence based on children’s performance. This app contains 3 learning domains that are fundamental knowledge and skills in English learning. They include alphabet, sight words and phonological awareness. The app uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to give tailored feedback based on children’s performance so that children can learn better from their own mistakes.
The “Back to School Life” App can be downloaded in Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
